The Great Global Warming Swindle

Before the article, and before the excellent documentary video below, feel free to take a look at these first two video clips explaining the some of the common-sense basics of the global warming hoax...it's a good, if basic, resource to share with your friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, etc. who are willing to listen, but could use a bit of education on CO2 and the global warming hoax, and who don't have great scientific literacy:

Then there's this great video clip, by the same lady, talking about data fraud (this is also easy to understand):

Finally, before we go to the news story, here's The Great Global Warming Swindle; this is very well done, it's far more detailed, and explained in more detail and with better, more professional presentation, but it is longer, and will take more than a couple of minutes to watch.

But let me emphasize this: this is an EXCELLENT video; any thinking person who is intellectually honest cannot dismiss the excellent argument(s) put forth in this series of video clips. This is far and away the best documentary exposing the Global Warming Hoax I've seen. Upon first inspection, my impression is that they pretty much covered everything. They definitely have their ducks in a row!

And these video clips aren't HD, but they're very clear and look great for their size (far better than those first two ones), and for the fact that they're YouTube uploads. Please watch these if you haven't seen this video already; it's a must-see!

Now that we've seen some great content which helps educate and inform, let me move to the news of the day.

This was such a ridiculously biased article I simply could not resist a bit of satire, but for ease of discernment, I used brackets and ellipses to indicate changes:

US Senate climate bill to be unveiled April 26

* Backers hope for Senate vote in June or July

* Measure could affect states' climate control activities (Adds reaction from American Petroleum Institute)

WASHINGTON, April 15 (Reuters) - A long-awaited compromise bill to reduce [U.S. Economic Output, using the excuse of the discredited 'Global Warming' Hoax,] will be unveiled by a group of senators on April 26, sources said on Thursday.

The legislative language to be sketched out in 11 days, according to government and environmental sources, is being drafted by Democrat Senator John Kerry, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and independent Senator Joseph Lieberman.

Backers of the [anti-American] bill hope the unveiling will pave the way for the full Senate to debate and pass a measure in June or July if the compromise attracts enough support from a group of [progressive] Republicans and Democrats.

Republican Senator Judd Gregg told Reuters he was "committed to getting something that addresses our energy needs in a constructive and comprehensive way." He added he did not know yet whether he would support the bill being developed.

President Barack Obama has made [destroying the American economy] one of his top priorities and took steps recently to show Republicans he was serious, including expanding federal aid for building nuclear power facilities and [pretending to allow] more domestic offshore oil drilling [while taking vast resources from the table] -- initiatives to be included in the Senate compromise.

The White House is also eager to show the rest of the world the United States is ready to take a leadership role on [promoting the 'global warming' hoax], including to help kick-start stalled international efforts to tackle the problem.

Despite vocal climate change [realists] in the United States, leading scientific groups have been hoping the United States, the biggest [economic powerhouse] after China, would take action.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported on Thursday the world's combined land and ocean surface temperatures in March were the hottest on record [but their complicity in the promotion of the global warming hoax destroys their credibility].

Once the senators formally sketch out their bill, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid will decide the next steps in a year crowded with competing legislative priorities and congressional elections in November.

The bill could face stiff opposition from lawmakers in states with economies heavily dependent on [energy, as well as America-loving lawmakers from all across America].

Lou Hayden, a policy expert at the American Petroleum Institute, said his group would not support the bill unless it went through an economic analysis by the Energy Information Administration, an independent arm of the Energy Department.

The bill is already slated to be analyzed by the [anti-capitalist thugs at the] U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Congressional Budget Office [, which must use the assumptions given them by the bill's backers], which could take more than a month.

BILL MIGHT END STATE/REGIONAL CARBON TRADE PROGRAMS

Kerry, Lieberman and Graham have been working for months on a global warming compromise significantly different from a measure passed last year by the House of Representatives and a bill approved by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. It also takes many elements from those bills.

Like the House-passed bill and Obama administration policy, it would set a target of 17 percent reductions in [carbon dioxide emissions, which is an inert gas, essential to plant life,] by 2020, from 2005 levels.

Point Carbon, an [economy-destruction/global warming hoax propaganda] consulting service, estimated the anticipated Senate bill would result in U.S. gasoline prices rising an average of 27 cents a gallon [, a ridiculously low estimate,] from 2013 to 2020. The bill is expected to contain a fee on motor fuels...
