Excuse me, but the Revolutionary War and the Constitution set up the freedoms we have enjoyed until the progressives have begun stripping them away. We are "trudging" towards socialism, although lately it seems we have being hurled at lightning speeds in that direction.
The article went on to state that "...McCain's presidential campaign tried to highlight Ayers' ties to then-presidential nominee Barack Obama. The two lived in the same neighborhood in Chicago's South Side, once worked on the same charity board, and Ayers hosted a small meet-the-candidate event for Obama in 1995."
A charity board....interesting name for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a project which spent millions of dollars and did not increase the scores of Chicago students at all compared to students who were not accessing the CAC dollars.
During that time period I had found an article which specifies the actual scores and dollars spent, but I am unable to locate it at this time.

This article cites the specific area of the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act which establishes the Comissioned Corps and Ready Reserve Corps (I wonder if he pronounces the "s" on Corps like he did the Marine Corpsman?).
This corps will have Commissioned Officers which will be subject to call to active duty by the Surgeon General!!
In addition, not reading the bill before voting it in has caused a slight problem - Obama made better coverage for children a centerpiect of his health care remake - but guess what???
The bill does NOT accomplish this, so administration officials are now scrambling.

To further hurt our economy, the New York Times had an article yesterday concerning Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced a "...“major policy revision” that aims to give bicycling and walking the same policy and economic consideration as driving."
Doesn't this make you feel all warm and fuzzy? It goes on to say:
“Today I want to announce a sea change,” he wrote on his blog last week. “This is the end of favoring motorized transportation at the expense of nonmotorized.”

I am just touching on just a few of the areas I have found this morning, and Obama's reach over all of our economy could very well lead to this address becoming reality, rather than a farcical piece of journalism.
Bill Ayers on the UW campus, and their having a Social Justice Research Center was enough to get me started....and I found an excellent article at the Heritage Foundation website which goes into great detail as the beginnings of the usage of the phrase, and what has occurred over the years.
In the Abstract of this article, it states:
Abstract: For its proponents, "social justice" is usually undefined. Originally a Catholic term, first used about 1840 for a new kind of virtue (or habit) necessary for post-agrarian societies, the term has been bent by secular "progressive" thinkers to mean uniform state distribution of society's advantages and disadvantages. Social justice is really the capacity to organize with others to accomplish ends that benefit the whole community. If people are to live free of state control, they must possess this new virtue of cooperation and association. This is one of the great skills of Americans and, ultimately, the best defense against statism.
I ask you - why does the University of Wyoming allow a privately funded center focusing on "uniform state distribution" on its campus? Is this not opposed to the fundamentals of our Constitution?
Are the students on campus working towards degrees to enable them to live better lives, working hard to support their families and enjoy the freedoms this country has (had??), or are they working to earn money to have it confiscated by the state for redistribution?
I have spent the last 5 hours researching all of this information, one link leading to another, and in the meantime, The 912 Project.US posted an article related to the Transportation Director's policy reversal ending the favoring of motorized vehicles.
Since you need to become a member of http://www.the912project.com/ (which is very easy to accomplish), I will post the essence of the article here. I remember watching the commercial during the Super Bowl that the article refers to, and I was extremely offended by it.
White House War on Automobiles?

So the Obama administration seems intent upon transforming us into something resembling China: a place where the vast majority are oppressed, where bicycles vastly outnumber automobiles, where the powerful communist regime exercises total control over our lives, even limiting the number of children born (with Obamacare, it's only a matter of time, since delivering babies is expensive, and Obama has surrounded himself with extremists, some of which believe in population control and eugenics).
Except here, the Green Police continue to attempt to enforce their vision of a zero-human impact environment.
Glenn Beck has been telling us over and over that soon we won't recognize the America we're left with now that the extremists have had over a year to "fundamentally transform" America, and boy was he right!
Just imagine transporting back in time to the spring of 2008 and telling everybody all that Obama was planning to do. People would think you were nuts.
Remember the "Green Police" advertisement by Audi during the Super Bowl? If you don't, here it is, to refresh your memory (unable to post video on this blog but link is in previous sentence)
Now extrapolate that sort of Orwellian control to an America where the Automobile is just as hated as incandescent light bulbs. In other words, sorry Audi. You're expendable. Heck, only GM and Chrysler are authorized now, since the Government owns them.
I hope this story motivates us all to to STEP OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONES and GO DOOR TO DOOR IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, where we know people (or should, anyway), and to talk to them.
How many of them think they're alone, but they agree with us? If you were in their shoes, wouldn't you want someone to come and let you know that we're already organizing a response to take back America? How many of your friends, relatives, co-workers, church congregation members, and other peers feel the same way? Do they ALL know your views? Isn't it about time to make sure they all do?
Does this make it clear, to everyone with ears to hear, how CRITICAL the elections are this November?
PLEASE walk your neighborhood. Please talk to your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, church congregation members, etc. and INVITE THEM to join us. Get them to read The 5,000 Year Leap. Get them to read A Patriot's History of the United States. Same with Glenn Beck's Common Sense. And don't forget The Real George Washington, Liberal Fascism, and the other books Glenn has recommended.
Identify those who will listen. Recruit them. Educate them. Organize them. INVITE THEM to join us. And in your local conventions/primaries/elections this year, turn them out, every last one of them, to the ballot box! Remember, we have well over 34,000 members nationwide on this social network alone. If every one of us recruited three dozen new people, we'd have 1.2 MILLION members. Glenn Beck says that 9.12'ers total over a million already. If every one of them got three dozen, we'd have enough people to counter ANYTHING ACORN/SEIU could throw at us. If everybody in Glenn's media footprint, about 30 Million, just helped awaken three people, we'd have 90 Million. That's more than enough to win a 50-state landslide in 2012. LET'S DO OUR PART!
Organize your voting precinct, outside of the Party of your choice, but also participate in the party of your choice!
And PLEASE stay away from a third party UNLESS they are LIKELY to win, and they're Constitutionalists! If not, take over your local Republican Party.
Remember, WE WILL BE THE KEY! We MUST restore America, and it MUST begin with you and I. We MUST get it done, THIS YEAR!
Please PRAY FOR AMERICA! We MUST get organized LOCALLY, YOU must organize YOUR voting precinct. It's up to YOU to ensure the election isn't stolen at YOUR PRECINCT BALLOT BOX/VOTING MACHINES THIS NOVEMBER!
5 hours later, I must finally get to work on real Saturday tasks. I am taking advantage of a Christmas gift at 5 pm today - a massage. I will try to forget about the issues here and relax, but it is difficult as many of you know.
